Salt Eater / All Eater at LYNX, Oslo, NO
It’s simple, really. This and that from here and there. Stuff I like, stuff I find, stuff I made, and stuff I took. Some lost and
found, a bit of wreckage. We are talking about a management of the unnecessary here, about selective hoarding,
discriminate collection, some pilfering & scavenging, a bit of friendly kleptomania and occasionally some downright theft.
Sort of a materialistic mysticism, if you will. I don’t know; I just do what I do and that’s that. I like to find things, collect things
andmake things. Show them off. Afterwards I do my best to believe in it. You see, I don't make fine design I make grit.
It's not polished, packaged and easy to assemble. This is not the Scandinavian Cool this is senseless trash.
It’s aggressive and sloppy. It’s personal, poetic, pathetic and political. It's all worthwhile, I think.
Matthew 5:13:
Ye are the salt of the earth:
but if the salt have lost his savour,
wherewith shall it be salted?
It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out,
and to be trodden under foot of men.
